It helps you impart your knowledge, and also earn money along the way. While selling your own course online can first appear to be a daunting process, it can become quite easy and profitable if you follow certain practices. I have laid those out in my videos, and trainings. Do you want to publish your online course, but you don’t want to spend too much on the equipment, website, and the software? So in this video, I want to show you how you can create your course for free, or almost free. The key here is to keep everything simple. If you want to create this type of ‘talking how-to’ video, even though it’s really doable if you are using your phone, it’s really expensive if you want to make it professional. This is because you may need to buy a microphone, lights, and a backdrop. So it’s not a great way if you want to create a course for free. They key here is you want to keep it simple, but you can make it super-professional. MindMaster + Free Screen Recorder I use this software to create a mind map. Then I talk about everything on the mind map, and record the screen- I do screen recoding. So the two software you need are the mind map software, and screen recording software. There are many of them on Google, you can easily find one. I don’t have a personal preference, but you can easily fine these two, and use for free. Udemy This is the most important part. This is because some people can create the course for free, but they don’t know how to sell it for free. Some people will say that you can go to Google, Weebly, or Wix to create a new site. Yes, it’s easy for you to create a new site. The problem is how you can get traffic, because if you want to get audience, you either spend time to create lots of content, or you pay for ads and ads are super expensive. So I won’t recommend you to do that if you don’t have the budget for promotion. So there’s a website called Udemy. You can upload your content to Udemy, and they will host the content for free. They will also promote your content for free. As long as you got a really great content, you can get free traffic from Udemy. That’s a great way for you to get started. If you can make some money from Udemy, you can re-invest the money to build your site, and drive traffic. That’s another part. So if you don’t have any budget in the beginning, you want to start the free method. So that’s how you go about it. That is it for this video.
