Yes it's true, I lost more than $8500 on Instagram. So as you can imagine, this was a pretty tough video to make for me. But if you enjoyed my struggle, found it funny or even learned a thing or two from my mistakes, then please make sure to hit that Like & Subscribe button for me! You have no idea how much it motivates me to continue pushing out these videos. But back to the story... A few months ago, I was doing an insanely good job on Instagram. I was growing all of my pages value, followers and engagement numbers. I was making more money each month on all of them through paid promotions and even testing out dropshipping on a few of them. But shortly after I had posted "My First Time DROPSHIPPING" video (https://youtu.be/K0k4_5aFJ0U), I got an email from Instagram stating that one of my pages had been permanently deactivated due to copyright reasons. I thought this was extremely weird because I had always made sure to give credits to the proper owners on all of my posts. It was pretty disappointing even though this was my smallest page, However, I was somewhat content with it being my smallest page rather than any of my others, so that put me down a total of $1,000 from its valuation. Obviously, I had spoken too soon. 2 weeks later, I got an additional email from Instagram stating that another one of my pages had been deactivated for the same reasons, only this time it was my second biggest account. This page was bringing in a total of $240 a month, had grown to 120K followers and someone had even offered to buy it from me for $2250. At this point, I stopped posting for the rest of my accounts and began trying to sell them. I was simply too afraid of losing another account from this HUGE copyright wave. Things get even worse. Just 4 days had passed, and I got my 3rd email from Instagram. This time around it was devastating, Instagram happened to take my biggest theme page that I made a video on a few months ago (https://youtu.be/Kc50NTgrT-8). This stings even to this day because this page was making me $400 a month, had 320K followers and I was literally in the midst of selling it for $5250. In total, that is $8,500 and a lot of time over the past year and a half gone within in instant. I've tried so many techniques trying to get my pages back. I've submitted appeals to Instagram each day since I lost my first account. I've watched countless videos on Instagram trying to help me. But at this point, I think I just need to accept what has happened and begin working on a new strategy. For my new strategy, I figured I could try selling the couple of remaining pages I have and use that money to try and purchase a page in the financial niche. That way I can actually make content for the page, and avoid any possible copyright issues in the future. If you have any tips or can help me with this, please make sure to comment down below! Please make sure to hit that like and subscribe button for me as well if you have not done so already. It helps me out so much in the YouTube algorithm and encourages me to keep making them. Thank you all again, my name is Nick Barner. I will see you all next video!
