Continuing off from the first part, in this video I am going to continue to try and make some serious profits off of Shopify dropshipping on TikTok. Last video (https://youtu.be/dePI_OFWN7E), I attempted ecommerce dropshipping with a sunset lamp and aimed to get at least one of my videos viral. I figured if I could get one of my videos viral, it would really tell me whether the product is actually profitable or not. Unfortunately, with the sunset lamp it did not have any luck / sales after a week of posting 3-4x a day on TikTok. But I did not want to give up there... So I decided to not only restart the whole TikTok dropshipping process with a brand new product from Aliexpress but I also tried to continue posting for the sunset lamp product as well. By doing so, this helped me test whether my last product was too saturated in the market or if I simply did not give it enough time to really pop off with TikTok's algorithm. For my new product, I looked up the hashtag #Tiktokmademebuyit on TikTok and began looking for potentially new products to dropship. After searching for a bit of time, I found a handheld vacuum cleaner in the shape of a mushroom. I figured this product would peak people's interest due to its usefulness as well as its fun look. I went onto Aliexpress and found that it was selling for $9 including shipping. I thought this would be a perfect product to list for $24.99 and give us a nice $15 for every product we sold. Once, I determined those pieces, I ordered the item off Amazon and began working on the store / TikTok business page. After a couple of days, the product got to my house, which was right around the time I finished up the new shopify store and TikTok business page. I named the product Mushroom Cleaner and started filming / posting immediately. After a week of posting on both accounts we had our results. Turns out that our last product (sunset lamp) was just way too saturated in the market, based on the hundreds of other dropshipping stores, the branded ecommerce store that was already created, and the 0 sales we got in the end. Taking a look at our new product, our TikTok page had more than 40,000 views by the end of the week. One video even popped off a bit, getting over 35K views and 1,200 likes. Unfortunately, when I went to check out the shopify dashboard, we ended up only having 72 link clicks and no sales. As a result, I concluded that my new product was just not as interesting as I thought it would be. However, I am not giving up on TikTok dropshipping even though I did not have success. Even though we had no success in either video, I wanted to post this to let you all know that dropshipping is just not as easy as everyone makes it out to be. You have so many people claiming that they have made thousands and thousands of dollars every day from their stores making it seem like it's really easy. When in reality, it's simply not. It takes time, a lot of effort, and you just can't give up in the process if you play this game. Anyways, I want yo thank you all for watching this video, please make sure to hit that like and subscribe button if you haven't. This is Nick Barner, I will see you guys next time! Peace :)
