PRESIDENT GUYANA CAN BE SELF SUFFICIENT IN HATCHING EGG SUPPLY WITHIN A YEAR

President Irfaan Ali says Guyana could be self-sufficient in hatching egg production within a year. The President shared this while hosting Dr. Muhammad Ibrahim, Director General of the Inter-American Institute for Cooperation on Agriculture (IICA), and Cleber Soares, Brazil's Vice Minister of Agriculture and Livestock. The meeting focused on agricultural development and cooperation for Guyana and the wider CARICOM region. Beyond hatching eggs, President Ali spoke about broader plans for the poultry sector and Guyana's wider food security agenda.
