Guyana is preparing to welcome accounting professionals from across the region as the Institute of Chartered Accountants of the Caribbean hosts its 43rd Annual Caribbean Conference of Accountants from June 25 to 27 at the Four Points by Sheraton Hotel. President of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Guyana, Ramesh Seebarran, says 427 delegates have already registered for the event, which will focus on key issues including economic development, Guyana’s oil and gas sector, agriculture, climate-related challenges and the future of the accounting profession. The conference, which rotates among Caribbean countries, returns to Guyana for the first time since 2017.
