At CES 2026, #oshkosh Corporation showcased how they are integrating AI, robotics, and electrification into their industrial vehicles to support "everyday heroes" like firefighters and airport staff. ​Key Highlights from the Exhibit: ​Next-Gen Airport Fire Trucks: Oshkosh featured its Hybrid Electric ARFF (Airport Rescue and Firefighting) vehicle, which won a CES Innovation Award. The truck operates on electric mode 98% of the time but can deliver over 1,000 HP in hybrid mode for emergency responses. ​Robotics & Airport Security: They displayed a Perimeter Security Robot developed from their defense "trackless moving target" technology. It is designed for autonomous airport patrolling and foreign object detection. ​Physical AI & Autonomy: The exhibit focused on "Physical AI"—using edge computing to automate mundane tasks.
