In part 2 of my Tamiya Nissan Fairlady 300ZX build, I’m getting into the fun part—laying down 2K clear on the body. I’m using Finish 1 2K clear, and this video is all about getting that deep, glossy finish that makes an automotive build really pop. I go over what I’m using, why I like it for this kind of job, and what I’m looking for as I’m spraying so the clear lays out smooth and clean. If you’re trying to step your finishes up, 2K clear is a game changer, but you’ve got to respect it and take your time.
