About This Video

This is update #2 on my Revell-Monogram 1969 Camaro SS convertible build, and in this one I’m keeping it simple and focused—interior time. I’m basically showing you the interior in “chess” before it all gets slapped together, so you can see where I’m at with the seats, panels, and the overall look while everything is still easy to access and tweak. These mid-build check-ins are important, because once you start locking parts in, it’s a lot harder to go back and clean something up. If you’re building along with me, the big takeaway here is to slow down and test-fit and look everything over before final assembly. I like to get the interior looking right first, because it sets the whole vibe of the finished build—especially on a convertible where you’re going to see a lot of it. And as always, if you need kits, supplies, tools, paints and more, I shout out the places I trust, plus paint/airbrush settings that keep things consistent when you’re laying color down.
