In this video I walk through the exact winterization routine I use on my 2018 AXIS A22 wake boat with the PCM Monsoon 409. If you’ve got a Monsoon-equipped boat, this process is going to look really familiar—fuel prep, protecting the engine, and making sure there’s no water left anywhere it can freeze and crack something expensive. I’m not trying to overcomplicate it; I’m just doing the steps that keep the boat happy when it’s parked for months. I start with the fuel side using a stabilizer so the gas isn’t nasty when spring hits, then I move into engine protection with fogging oil. After that, the big goal is getting water out and replacing what needs to be protected with marine/boat antifreeze where appropriate, especially in the areas that love to trap water. I also cover the basic tools I keep on hand to make this quick, and I finish it off with storage—because a decent cover is part of “winterizing” too if you don’t want surprises later. Do it once, do it right, and you’ll thank yourself at the first warm weekend.
