Hello and welcome to My Way or the AI Way. My name is Scott Davison. I'm a business and marketing consultant and I've been around for quite a while now. I'm 47 years old, which means the first half of my career coincided with the internet revolution. And I was very fortunate to be able to ride that wave and I've worked in and around internet related businesses for over 25 years now across various industries, both small startups, as well as helping more traditional established businesses transform and adopt digital technologies. And if we look at business and life today, it's hard to imagine a world without the internet. But I'm old enough to remember that time. And what I'm seeing now very clearly is that we are at the start of the next major business revolution in our lifetime with artificial intelligence. Now, much like the internet, this is a technology that's going to impact every business and every job function in some way. And it's happening right now at a rapid pace. I for one don't want to get left behind. And I also want to be able to help my clients navigate this new technology. So that's what this podcast is about. I want a personal quest to master AI and understand where it can be applied in business and in life. So I've set myself a challenge for the next 12 months. Whenever I have a task to do, I'll be asking myself, could this be done with AI? And if the answer is yes, I'll my sleeves up and I'll put it to the test. And I'll be sharing these experiences with you via this podcast, the wins, the fails, and the unexpected surprises of using AI. I'm also going to be interviewing entrepreneurs, marketers, and business people who are using AI in interesting and creative ways, so that we can learn from their experiences.
