Are you a fan of seeing big machines in action? Then you won't want to miss the latest video from My Slice of Heaven! In this video, we're tackling a common problem for orchard on Foggy Ridge Farm: what to do with all those rocks and dirt? As you may remember, we spent weeks scraping every last rock out of our chestnut orchard to create the perfect growing environment for our trees. But that left us with piles and piles of unwanted material to deal with. Enter our trusty 1988 Dresser 100G track loader. This beast of a machine can move massive amounts of dirt and rocks with ease, making it the perfect tool for our latest project. We're using it to transport the piles of rocks and dirt to a new location where we can build up the soil and prevent runoff from our orchard. But the real star of the show is the Dresser 100G itself. With a weight of about 19,000 pounds and a maximum lift capacity of 6,000 pounds, this machine is a true powerhouse. Its diesel engine delivers 60 - 70 horsepower, giving it the strength and speed to handle even the toughest jobs. We know you love seeing our farm in action, and we're thrilled to share this latest project with you.
