How to fix a pull rope starter handle on a champion 27 ton log splitter - Easy Fix. We were on the back part of foggy ridge farm splitting firewood when the log splitter shut off. We have had a few problems with the log splitter lately. When I tried to restart it, the pull rope starter handle slipped out of my hand and the handle broke off the rope. The handle went flying and I never could find the handle, so I had to buy another. I am going to show you how easy it is to put on a new pull rope starter handle, you can do it in 30 minutes or less, as long as you have your tools ready and your parts handy. This fix is for the champion 27 ton log splitter, but these steps will fix most pull rope starter handles. Mowers, trimmers or anything with a pull rope is very similar to this. We went with the big looped handle, which is the kind that was on this maching and makes it easy to pull when wearing gloves. If you are looking for a pull rope handle ike this, we got it from amazon and the link will be in our affiliates link section below. Don't forget to like, comment, and share our videos with others.
