Crossing the FINISH LINE - We got up all the Firewood, From the FIRST PILE First off i would like to thank everyone for watching my videos, it means a lot. As you know, we are trying to get up all the firewood that has sat around due to us not being able to get it picked up and split. It sat due to family issues, In case you missed it, you can see the video explaining this here -- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zE-Za9ebu9g It took us 7 days to finally get through this pile of firewood, It feels so good to finally have it split and stacked. As Kris says in the video, we already had so much time invested in this firewood, it was hard to see our hard work sit there and rot. But as we were going through it we realized, it was not as bad as we had thought. We ended up salvaging 6.5 cords and threw away about 3.5 cords due to rot. Thats not bad concidering it sat there for two years. Now we can start the big pile of logs, I am thinking they will be in better shape because we left them whole and did not cut them down to size.
