Chestnut Orchard Update We Have Burs

Welcome to My Slice of Heaven, a channel dedicated to sharing our homestead Journey through our videos. Chestnut Orchard update, We have burs. two of our trees this year have burs. each bur has a potential to produce 3 nuts. Some produce more nuts, some less. But 3 seems to be the number. Our first tree was a Gideon seedling that produced 8 burs. Our second tree was also a seedling from Gideon which has produced 2 burs this year. Both trees were planted in 2020 and are in their 4th growing season. After the COWTASTROPHY we had earlier this year, we were happy to see so many trees recovering. We also bought a grafted tree last year, It was a graft of Pandora, It also has a bur on it. the amazing thing about it is, It's only a foot and a half tall. I know we have not been posting much but we have lots of new and exciting things to share with you soon, so keep an eye out.
