About This Video

In this video, I’m flipping through my Filofax Malden and showing you exactly how I used it this month—what actually got used, what I kept up with, and what sections were more “aspirational” than realistic. I walk you through my month week by week, because my planning changes depending on what season I’m in. Week 1 was very finance-focused, Week 2 leaned into academic prep, Week 3 centered on health and fitness, and Week 4 was all about career tasks and projects. I also share the extra sections I kept in my Malden to support my day-to-day planning—things that make the planner feel like a real system instead of just pretty pages. If you’re trying to build consistency, my biggest takeaway is to keep what’s working, simplify what you’re avoiding, and let your sections earn their spot. I’m also being honest that this is a “let’s see how it goes next month” setup—because I plan in real life, and my planner has to flex with me, not the other way around.
