The Therm-a-Rest Xlite NXT is a classic three-season inflatable pad, and it’s exactly why I wanted to do this video. In my freezer testing, it didn’t perform like its advertised R-value when compared to stacked foam, which is why I now tell people to go higher R-value than they think they need with inflatables.
