Making an Ancient Airplane

Trying to thumb through a social media stream before bed one night this week, I started getting many videos on conspiracy theories. So I figured, why not lean into it and use it as inspiration for this week's build? I chose to dive into the conspiracy theory about a tribe in Colombia that has ancient artifacts somewhat resembling modern-day aircraft. These Quimbaya artifacts predate the invention of airplanes by about 1500 years. For this build, I used: 6 mm and 2 mm EVA foam, 48 mm EVA dowel and a 10 mm EVA half dowel, contact cement, super glue, Plasti Dip, and various rub-n-buff metallic paints. You may also need the following tools: a rotary tool with multiple bits, a heat gun, a woodburner, and an Exacto knife or box cutter.
