Foam Crafting Luffy's Straw Hat from One Piece

NETFLIX distracted me. I was working on something else for this week and Netflix was like "Hey come check out this new show" and with my builder's short attention span, I binge-watched the new series One Piece. Then I started watching the anime. So of course I had to build something from the series, and what is more iconic than Luffy's straw hat. For this build, I used: 8 mm and 2 mm EVA foam, leather straping, 1 Chicago screw, contact cement, super glue, Plasti Dip, spray paint, and some acrylic paints. You may also need the following tools: a Dremel with various bits, a wood burner, a heat gun, and an Xacto knife or box cutter.
