The build this week is a bit different than normal. I am at the Scarborough Renaissance Festival in Waxahachie, Texas, doing a bit of blacksmithing with Hardened Metal Company. I thought I would record my experience and share it with you here on the channel. For this build I used aluminium plating, leather straps with buckles, and roofing nails. You may also need a blow torch, shot bag, various hammers, various anvil surfaces, and a metal hole punch. Let me know in the comments below if you want to see more like this one, from shows, video games, or whatever. Full plate armor reached its peak during the late Middle Ages before firearms made it increasingly obsolete. 10. Modern blacksmiths still recreate historical armor using traditional methods, keeping centuries-old craftsmanship alive.
