About This Video

In this vlog, I’m literally living my “two worlds” life in the most chaotic, fun way—because one night I’m raging at a Travis Scott concert and the next I’m vibing to Punjabi bangers at Karan Aujla. As an Aussie-Indian (born in India, brought up in Australia), my identity is mixed… so of course my playlist is too. I take you along for both nights, from getting ready to travelling in, to seeing the crowds and feeling that whole concert adrenaline in completely different ways. For Travis, it’s full mosh-pit energy—Southern Cross is packed, I’m excited but also lowkey scared, and we’re grabbing hot chips before heading in. Then for Karan Aujla, it’s a totally different vibe: I’m fresh out of the shower, doing my hair, throwing on my hoops (from Cotton On), and we decide to drive because we’ve got work the next morning and trains take forever. Also yes, we’re late (7:33 and he’s coming at 8), but the night still turns into the best kind of scream-sing moment. The takeaway? Being “between cultures” can feel confusing, but nights like this remind me music connects everything.
