I landed around an ~$800 build using a Ryzen 5 5600X, a cheap B550 Wi‑Fi board, 16GB DDR4-3600, two budget Gen4 NVMe drives, and a Radeon 6750 XT—because 12GB VRAM at that price is hard to beat, and I’m still annoyed how stingy Nvidia gets with VRAM. After that, we moved into Fallout 4 modding with the Lost World setup using Wabbajack and Nexus Mods. I’m going for the S.T.A.L.K.E.R./Tarkov vibe—darker, scarier, more survival—and I walked through the install basics, ENB/profile switching, and the initial in-game setup prompts so the modlist doesn’t break.
