GREAT NEWS! IT'S ALIVE!!

Had a tropical plant survive through the winter with minimal cover. Consider myself very lucky. It was a learning process, which I learned more about it after the first frost. If I would have covered the stem with bubble wrap probably could have saved it. Still happy that the tree is alive!
