Scaler 2 is one of those plugins people keep sleeping on, and I don’t get it. It goes beyond basic music theory—this thing helps you create, switch up your chord choices, and get out of that same minor/major loop a lot of y’all stay stuck in.
Pros
- +Helps with chords, progressions, and music theory workflow
- +Great for creativity and thinking outside the box
- +Can replace buying tons of MIDI packs
Cons
- -Not a “sounds” plugin—more of a composition tool
- -Takes a little time to learn if you’re new to theory tools

“2 but still on sale i think they have echo boy jr don't they if you're looking for a more stripped down version yeah echo boy junior is only 30 bucks but yeah a lot of plugins are under 40 bucks and you know sound toys make some really good plugins i have i have a couple of soundtracks plug-ins that's the only ones i don't have is the crystallizer and the little ultra boy which i'm probably gonna pick up after this video because those are two i would have been one experiment with and play around with and let's say for 30 bucks or 40 bucks for the altar boy and only 40 bucks for that you know 40 bucks i can spend 40 bucks personally you know saying i can i can rock with that but yeah most they got some really good deals check out the sound toys black friday sale so i'll tell you about some great stuff um next up this is not on sale per se but i still think it's a really good plug to get plus you get a free plug-in if you buy it scaler 2”
