The 2-bank battery charger can charge both the main starter battery and the 12v support battery located down in the engine bay. We installed this charger because if you don’t drive often or only drive short distances, the batteries won’t have enough time to charge, and this will significantly decrease their lifespan. When the capacity of the support battery falls below a certain level, the start/stop function will also not work. Batteries need to be regularly charged fully to have the maximum service life.
