Australia is facing a significant period of change in health service delivery, ageing, and disability support. With our ever-changing population, there is a greater need to provide support services such as housing to ensure that those living with disability and disease continue to live independently for longer and maintain quality of life. Through the Rehabilitation, Ageing and Independent Living (RAIL) Research centre, Professor Keith Hill and Associate Professor Libby Callaway are tackling these complex problems and finding real solutions to better the lives of older people, people living chronic conditions, and those living with disability with a focus on Melbourne’s south-east and the Peninsula region, as well as at a state-wide, national and international level.
