In my earlier video on the overall Apple II line, I showed off my broken IIc that was the first computer I ever owned. Now it's time to sit down and repair it, tearing down the computer and rebuilding it to hopefully be as it was the day I first took it home in 1985. Will I be successful? Spoiler alert: yes. I took the "easy" (though not all that common, nowadays!) way out. This is another quick video while I work on some more complicated, scripted stuff. But in many ways these are some of the most fun videos to do. This computer has obviously *not* been retrobrited - no need to tell me how yellow it is! I may retrobrite eventually but the problem is that it's a temporary solution - the yellowing always comes back after a few years. I'm still deciding if it's even worth the effort.
