As home prices continue to climb with inflation, more and more American families are being pushed out of home ownership. Worse yet, due to a national housing shortage - many American families are going homeless. From 2023 to 2024, the number of American families WITH CHILDREN that are homeless, has grown by almost 40%. Most middle class and working class families are unable to keep up with rising rents or mortgages, especially as wages remain stagnant. While the housing market has slowed and rebounded in the past, this time appears to be different. The housing shortage in America is the most severe that it's been - maybe ever. Will housing prices drop in 2025? Will housing prices drop under Donald Trump? It seems unlikely. The current housing crisis is somewhat an issue of policy - but it's also an issue of inventory. There's a giant shortage of homes in America, today. And while government policies can help builders to more cheaply, build more homes - we have a long way to go. We need more homes if we want America to remain successful and prosperous. Workers can't take this economic downturn much longer. I love y'all - let's keep our chins up & get through this together. -mitchell sources: Why Americans Can’t Find Starter Homes by CNBC on Youtube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zio8-WF2gGY
