Inner Space Cavern was one of the coolest stops we’ve done—especially knowing it was discovered during I-35 drilling and is estimated to be around 25 million years old. Our guide Tina was high-energy and super knowledgeable, and the tour was packed with history, formations, and fossils.
Pros
- +Informative one-hour guided tour with lots of history
- +Unique discovery story tied to Interstate 35 construction
- +Great family experience (this was Zoe’s first cave)
Cons
- -Tours can book up, especially later in the day
- -Humidity can be noticeable (my makeup melted and my hair fell)
