OKINAWA BIKE RIDE TO CHECK MY SHUT DOWN BEACHES - ENJOY THE VIEW I won’t be able to see your comments until after I get off my bike please chat amongst yourselves and enjoy the view. This was quite a fun ride today. 12 miles in total, from our house in Yomitan, Okinawa to Kevins office at Camp Foster Marine Corps Base. I wanted to make sure the beaches are still shut down during this state of emergency order, which they are. I will be back to beach metal detecting soon...9 more days if they don't extend it. We ride along the sea wall from Yomitan where we live to Camp Foster, where Kevin works. We ride pass Sunabe Sea Wall and through American Village. If you are planning on visiting Okinawa in the near future, you may find some of our ride useful. There is so much to see and do here in Okinawa. We can't wait until Okinawa opens back up to tourism.
