We spent three days in Washington, DC, then we headed up to Nik and Zoe's house at McGuire Air Force Base in New Jersey. We spent three lovely days with them, then we headed to Ocean Isle Beach in North Carolina to look at a house that was $114,000 over priced. The seller has since dropped the price by $50k and is under contract. The house has many faults and foibles(the listing agents own words) so we will see if the property actually closes. Anyway, we moved on to Myrtle Beach, SC, were I was able to metal detect for three glorious days with my brand new metal detector. And no, it's not my Manticore...I still have not received it!! After Myrtle Beach, we headed to Columbia, SC, where we celebrated out 33rd wedding anniversary and Whitney and Raymond Celebrated their 2nd wedding anniversary. We got to take a look at the massive USC campus where our boy Raymond will attend in the fall. Now I am at my folks house for the month of June and Kevin is at home in Okinawa, Just in time for the first Typhoon of the season. I'm so bummed that I will miss the hunt after the storm.
