First connect the torch head and fuel line to the fuel canister. Turn the fuel line knob to the on position and insert the fuel canister into the heat resistant base. To turn the torch on, press the ignition button and slide up to keep it lit. The flame adjustment knob, located at the top of the torch head, allows you to control the size of flame. To turn the flame off, simply press the ignition button and slide down. When you are finished with the torch, place the torch head into the dock on the base for easy and convenient storage, turn off the fuel regulator knob, and disconnect the line.
