The Grassland Circle at Royal Park is a moving and magnificent landscape. Focusing on the various scales, texture, uses and sounds, this video highlights the spaces’ versatility and beauty. The grassland circle allows you to stand out, yet blend in.The space is vast, yet intimate. The path is formal, yet many more are formed informally. Your eyes are drawn into the park, yet the simple lines frame the dusk sky and the city view. When you are here, you are alone and at the same time, outnumbered. Location: Royal Park, Grassland Circle Keren Maina is a student of landscape architecture and urban planning at the University of Melbourne.
