Rosalea Monacella on Design for Research

Rose is a registered landscape architect and Design Critic in Landscape Architecture at the Harvard Graduate School of Design. Her work as a practitioner and researcher explores the dynamic resource flows that inform the landscape of contemporary cities. She has acted as chief editor of Kerb Journal, and has just published the book ‘Designing Landscape Architectural Education: Studio Ecologies for Unpredictable Futures’. — This talk was part of the ‘Removing Barriers, Beyond the Classroom’ series, for the students of Architecture Design Thesis at the Melbourne School of Design, University of Melbourne. This series is intended to point toward life after uni, by introducing students to inspiring thinkers and do-ers who are working in different ways.
