Edition Office on Design for Collaboration

Edition Office is an architecture studio encompassing cultural, social and technological research, enabling exploration of material expression, form and spatial practice. The experiential qualities of their work enable projects which re-articulate relationships between communities and place. Edition Office have built a reputation for refined and monumental architecture, that looks toward art practice as much as to building. In a few short years they have built a number of significant projects, particularly through their collaborations with Indigenous artists Yhonnie Scarce and Dan Boyd. — This talk was part of the ‘Removing Barriers, Beyond the Classroom’ series, for the students of Architecture Design Thesis at the Melbourne School of Design, University of Melbourne. This series is intended to point toward life after uni, by introducing students to inspiring thinkers and do-ers who are working in different ways.
