Welcome to my endless loop with the Himi Gouache set! I'm a serial paint neglecter: I keep forgetting about this paint for months, only to find it dried out and crumbly again. This has been the story for the last five years! 😩 This week, I’m putting the revival trick to the test. I just added water, knowing full well it will likely dry out again...but the real question is: is the 5-year-old paint still good enough to use right now? I share the quick revival process and some gouache tips on consistency and application while I test this old pigment. #HimiGouache #ReviveGouache #GouacheTips #ArtSupplyHack ▶️ Instagram: http://www.instagram.com/melanie.mangold.art ------------------------------------------------- ▶️ PRODUCTS USED: • Himi Gouache: https://amzn.to/3JAgLBX * (newer version) • Winsor and Newton Permanent White: https://amzn.to/4o6Efgc * • Various Round Brushes (I like Meeden and DaVinci) • Speedball Watercolor Book (I don't recommend it, I think it's overpriced for its quality) ------------------------------------------------- *Those are affiliate links.
