lifestyle I kind of just made made some little tweaks in the living room and just adjusted the space to feel like a little bit more fresh for the new year also getting into the health and fitness journey I'm continuing my journey actually I have lost weight in the past 2 years because I've just taken my health a little bit more seriously getting older closer to 30 especially when I got diagnosed with type 2 diabetes just to clarify I am no longer a a diabetic nor am I a pre-diabetic because of my healthy lifestyle changes my ac1 levels have actually dropped significantly in the last 2 years and I'm proud of myself working out meal prepping and just keeping track of my calories and not overeating as much as I used to I used to weigh almost 250 lbs and now I weigh 182 and Counting that's actually a big really big deal for me to um expose myself like that and be so vulnerable because this topic has been such a very touchy subject for me body issues body dysmorphia just lack of confidence in that area completely for years and now I've finally gained the confidence to come on here in front of my subscribers my friends my family and show you all the truth and that it does app and you go to the little top where it says filter they'll specifically show you all the free ones and they're so good like especially for beginners like myself for the bike I'm used to treadmill at the gym and weightlifting so I'm just so glad that I have a second alternative cardio resource right at home I've also tested it out and you can actually overlay YouTube on top of your workout so if you want to like tune out and just watch more like of a visual learner if you just want to watch the video of the workout you can overlay YouTube and play music or watch your favorite YouTuber and you know get your workout in those hips are rotated back when you're ready out of position one halfway there you haven't [music] allow that breathing to start getting shallow those quads should be up here had this beautiful piece in storage for a very long time now and I've been just waiting for the perfect spot to put it in it's a little miniature secretary vintage desk I think I paid $10 for this at a yard sale I thought it'd be great as some extra storage for the tiny house this is actually where Daniel and I house all of our like uh content equipment laptop um G his gaming supplies Oculus um Chargers and extra extension cords CU it actually has a pullout writing area that sits out like this and that is actually where I'm going to be placing my new vinyl record player this vient record player was sent to me by a brand that just wanted me to do an honest review about it and I'm just honestly really excited because I used to have one of these and then it broke that's where I'm going to place it when I'm not using it I'm just going to put it at the B inside the bottom drawer so let's get that set up this desk is sturdy [snorts] look at this setup it looks like that's what it's meant for like a little pullout station for your record player connected what's really awesome about this is that it's a twoin one I actually asked for Christmas a speaker because all of my speakers always just randomly stop working um and I love to listen to music when I'm cleaning or filming or anything around the house and I my volume on my cell phone is trash so I've been wanting a Bluetooth speaker so badly and now I have one a full like stereo system that also plays vinyl recers wao this is the loudest [music] [music] [singing] oh my God it's so loud [music] I'm definitely going to a vinyl record store to Thrift and start collecting my own collection of vinyls I went on and picked up these vinyls from the thrift store they were only $3 each and I'm actually really excited about the Westside Story I loved watching this movie with my mom as a kid so I can't wait to actually play the album [music] [music] I found this artwork piece this was marked for $125 and it had a yellow tag which was a dollar today I got this for a dollar at my local thrift store and I was like there's no way she's going to really sell it to me for a dollar and she was like yep that's a dollar so I'm so happy with this for the kitties it's like a stimulating cat treat um holder and they have to actually use their paws to get to the treats and they did they actually should work for their treats because I just spoil them way too much they need to work for it so this was only a dollar and for my nights of hosting like maybe for New Year's I got this silicone ice ball maker which I think is so cool I've always wanted to make these type of drinks and like stuff them with like lemon peels orange peels Rosemary so excited to use this is also $2 I found this for a do with the yellow tag originally 15 it's just a decorative ceramic teapot that I can put on a Shelf in my Cottage core kitchen something about this vase that called out to me I really love the detail it's like a pitcher it's like spouted through the mouth but I was thinking of using it as like a vase for flowers $10 but with it being half off I only paid $5 little copper pitcher pot it doesn't have a top to it but I thought this would be perfect for when I'm boiling I want to just boil on the stove some hot water um to go with my coffee or hot chocolate and just like pour that right on in I really like this and it ties in with my copper kitchen I just thought this was really cute for warming some soup up some chili it's like a little mini Dutch oven Bowl I really thought that was so cute for only $2 wicker basket you can never have too many of these just to pop in corners or used as a trash can in the bathroom this was $4 this little kitty cat on a summer um outdoor front porch scene for $5 and I don't know that'll probably tie in somewhere on the wall sketch of someone's pet from the year '92 really cool to have like literally someone's pet that they actually sketched up years ago Florida vintage tag from June of 1982 and that will go also like somewhere on the wall as like The Eclectic nness also got this curtain rod this brass curtain rod for $3 I'm definitely adding curtains in this living room because it really needs some type of warmth added to the windows look at this massive thing I picked this up in the trash basically brand new basically brand new I didn't see any speckle of previous owner on this now I'm actually working on the dining room which is connected to the tiny kitchen that everybody showed a lot of great support with I really don't want to give you a sneak peek of this either this is actually my cat litter enclosure that I just painted this green to match the bottom cabinets of the kitchen that you all saw and then I stained the top a little bit of a darker shade I don't want to show too much of that because that's going to be my next video it's going to be really great it's going to be finally a full tour of the dining room and tiny kitchen area my small tiny space now has functionality and that's what I'm so happy about because honestly I did not used to want to come out here I just didn't want to be in the living room it didn't feel welcoming and now that I have like actual little areas in my living room where I can have a workout relax listen to music read a book on the sofa drinking coffee so it's like now I'm just excited to
