The core idea is simple: if you don’t give AI proper context, it will start assuming things (that’s basically hallucination). So I walk you through context awareness in a practical way: project context (what you’re building, tech stack, architecture, current state), workspace context (your folder/file structure), and instruction context (rules like “don’t change anything” or “only edit this file”). When you combine these, you get cleaner outputs and way fewer random changes. Then I get into tokens—what they are, why they matter, and how “garbage in, garbage out” becomes expensive fast in paid tools. A vague prompt like “build me a CRM app” looks cheap on input, but the output burns tokens and still won’t be production-ready. After that, I cover the prompt techniques I use: instruction prompting, declarative prompting (follow clean architecture, specific styles), contextual prompting (PRD/schema-driven), constraint prompting (super important when tools start rewriting your code), and conversational prompting (my most-used approach for better alignment over time). Finally, I explain one-shot, two-shot, and few-shot prompting with examples, plus follow-up prompting with my golden rule: never restart from scratch—pinpoint where it failed and continue from there.
