Walt Disney Studios Lot (formerly Animation Courtyard) - The area is being rethemed into a **Walt Disney Studios**-inspired courtyard with new hardscaping, pathways, green spaces, and theming (including a large Sorcerer Mickey hat on the animation building). - **Phase 1 opens May 26, 2026**: Outdoor courtyard, new **Disney Jr. Mickey Mouse Clubhouse Live!** show, and access to *The Little Mermaid – A Musical Adventure* (which stays open). - **The Magic of Disney Animation** (interactive family experience with drawing classes, character meets, and more in the former Star Wars Launch Bay building) opens later in summer 2026. - Recent progress: Construction walls have shifted, new concrete poured, exterior painting and signage underway.
