Joe Taslim calls The Furious “the action movie of the decade” | 8Days Interviews

Indonesian action star Joe Taslim is back! According to him, The Furious may be ‘the action movie of the decade”. He plays Navin, a journalist embroiled in a human trafficking network. His only ally is a mute labourer (China’s Xie Miao) whose daughter has been kidnapped by the same syndicate. In an exclusive interview, Joe explains what drew him to the film's father-daughter story, and why he believes action should always serve the story rather than the other way around.
