The Basics | Introduction to Graduated Filters Progrey USA

▶ Check out my gear on Kit: https://kit.com/Media_Unlocked How I got the shot video We took the Progray filter kit to Lower Howards Creek in Clark County, Kentucky to catch a little bit of the fading fall colors. The shot I found was a lone bright tree reflecting on the water of the creek. There were a few small rivulets and cascades I wanted to capture as well in the shot so long exposures were a must. I used Progray’s circular polarizer combined with a graduated neutral density filter to control the light. There were areas of bright sun and deep shadow. The graduated filter allowed me to position the clear area over the shadows and the ND area over the sun to capture it in one shot instead of using bracketed exposure.
