Sigma14-24mm f/2.8 DG HSM Art Lens Real World Review

The Sigma 14-24 f/2.8 Art is, like the other lenses in the Art line, absolutely amazing. 3 fluorite elements, 3 SLD elements and 3 aspherical elements help reduce fringing and reduce the need for color corrections. And yes, like the other Art lenses it is amazingly SHARP SHARP SHARP. We took it to the Big South Fork National River Recreation Area on the Kentucky/Tennessee border and the Cathedral of the Blessed Assumption in Covington, KY to test the lens and see what kind of capabilities it had. In both sun and low light it was amazing. Ultra-wide angle lenses are difficult to handle and require some special techniques; if you need one this is DEFINITELY one you should look at. And considering the price relative to the Nikon alternative and the Canon 16-35 it is a bargain.
