It’s been 8 years since Canon brought out their 70-200 2.8 IS II and it’s time for an upgrade. The new 4.0 lens got a great treatment in the new version, but what about the Canon 70-200 2.8 IS III? Is it the best sports lens ever? Early reviews are mixed with some preproduction reviews liking it and some saying it has no significant change from the earlier version other than a new coat of paint. We got our hands on 2 of these new babies a few days before presales shipped and this is our first look at it.
