In this Apple Watch how-to, I show you exactly how to put a picture on your Apple Watch so your watch face looks personal (and honestly, way better) in just a few minutes. I walk through the steps on the watch first—going into the widget/watch face area, swiping through the available faces, and tapping the big plus button at the end to add a new one. From there, you’ll jump over to your iPhone to finish the setup and pick the photo you actually want to use. On the iPhone, I take you into the Watch app’s Face Gallery tab, where you can scroll to the “Photos” watch face. Then it’s just “Choose Photos,” select your image, and customize the details the way you like it. I cover the key customization options—time position, font size and style, numeral design, photo color filters, and the time color—plus how to add complications like Activity Rings, battery, alarms, audiobooks, and more. Once you hit Add, the face syncs automatically, and your photo watch face is live on your wrist.
