About This Video

Want to overlay images in Elementor? In this quick guide, I show you the exact “duplicate + negative margin” method I use to stack images and get that layered, eye-catching look without overcomplicating anything. I start inside the WordPress dashboard, go to Pages → All Pages, pick the page (I used my homepage), and jump into Edit with Elementor. From there, it’s all about duplicating the same image and positioning each copy so they overlap cleanly. The key move is in the Advanced tab: I set top, right, and bottom margins to zero, then I only tweak the left margin into a negative number (like -450 to start) to slide one image over the other. After that, I go to the Style tab and adjust width (for example, 75) so the top layer is slightly smaller. I repeat the process one more time with a different negative left margin (like -500) and a slightly different width, and that’s how you end up with three stacked versions that feel like a modern collage. Once it looks right, I hit Publish and preview the page—way cooler than leaving it as a single picture.
