Want to optimize Elementor to speed up your website? In this video, I walk you through the exact settings I enable to get better performance and a smoother design experience inside WordPress. I start in the WordPress backend by going to Elementor → Settings, then jumping into the Performance tab. From there, I turn on optimized image loading, optimized Gutenberg loading, and lazy load background images, then save the changes so Elementor can start using those performance tweaks right away. Next, I head over to the Features tab and activate the options that fall under Elementor’s performance category: optimized markup, element caching, inline font icons, and loading Google fonts locally. These are simple switches, but they make a real difference in how fast your pages load and how smoothly your site runs. Finally, I open the Elementor manager, run “scan element usage,” and then hit “deactivate unused elements” to automatically disable widgets I’m not using. That cleanup makes Elementor lighter, faster, and easier to work with—so your setup is optimized and ready to go.
