Totally endoscopic coronary artery bypass, or TECAB, is a completely closed chest robotic-assisted procedure. At Mayo Clinic, we use advanced robotic technology and perform the operation through a small keyhole incision without opening the breastbone. The robotic system allows us to harvest arteries and perform a precise coronary bypass with excellent visualization and control.
