How's everyone doing? In this video, I show you how to make a hydroelectric generator or watermill from PVC, wood, and some motors that powers and LED. One of the purposes of this video is to show you the concept of generating electricity from water (Hydroelectric). For the people who used to wonder if you can generate electricity from a 3V geared toy motor, and if it is enough to power an LED, then it's a yes. How I wired up the 2 motors to the LED: First, you attach 2 wires to each motor, then connect 2 negative wires, and connect two positive wires from both motors, now attach positive pair of wires to cathode (negative), now wire the negative pair of wires to the anode (positive). Things needed for making this project: Two large PVC pipes - 4.5-inch pipe, 27cm long Three smaller PVC pipes - 2.5-inch pipe, 10cm long Wooden planks for the wooden stand for the waterwheel (Dimensions of planks varies by the environment) I used 6 planks, then cut them to right size and pieces.
