Then lower the burner temperature to medium-low and add in the garlic cloves, and finish cooking the steak, basting it with rendered bacon fat. When done to your liking using a meat thermometer, remove the steak from the pan and let it rest for about 5-10 minutes. While the steak is resting, in a nonstick pan over medium heat, cook 3 eggs sunny-side up.
