We pan-seared the lightly seasoned ribeye steak perfectly, including the edges, and finished cooking the ribeye steak, basting the steak with garlic butter, rosemary, and thyme, and served it with sautéed garlic-butter asparagus. Prime Rib Roast 1:11 Season the Ribeye Steak 2:18 Sear and Cook the Ribeye Steak 5:06 Baste with Herbs, Butter and Garlic Cloves 7:03 Sauté the Asparagus in Garlic Butter 9:01 Taste Test the Ribeye Steak and Sautéed Asparagus ⬇️⬇️ RECIPE INGREDIENTS ⬇️⬇️ • 1 1.5 inch thick Beef Ribeye Steak • Kosher Salt to Taste • Salt and Pepper to Taste • Garlic Powder to Taste • Thyme and Rosemary to Taste • 2-3 Garlic Cloves • 1 TBSP of Butter to Baste the Steak • Oil for the Pan 👉Cooking Instructions: • In a cast iron skillet over medium-high heat, add some avocado oil or peanut oil and sear the ribeye steak quickly for 2-5 minutes on both sides to form a nice crust, and don't forget about the edges. Then lower the burner temperature to medium and add in the butter, rosemary, and thyme and finish cooking the steak, basting with butter. When done to your liking using a meat thermometer, remove the steak from the pan and let it rest for about 5-10 minutes. While the steak is resting, clean and wipe out the pan if needed and sauté the asparagus in garlic butter.
