Salmon Fillets • 1.5 inch thick Chuck Eye Steak • 1/2 Pound of Large Shrimp - Cleaned Deveined and Peeled • 1/2 Stick of Butter • 1 Green Onion - Sliced • 2 Garlic Cloves • 1 TBSP Minced Garlic • Lemon Zest to Taste • Lemon Pepper Seasonings to Taste • Salt, Pepper and Garlic Powder to Taste • 1-2 TBSP of BaconUp Bacon Grease to Sear and Baste the Steak 👉Shrimp Marinade: • 1/2 TSP of Old Bay Seasoning • 1/4 TSP of Lemon Juice • 1/2 TSP of Water • 1/2 TBSP of Oil • 1 TSP of Cornstarch 👉Cooking Instructions: • In a cast iron skillet over medium-high heat, add some BaconUp Bacon Grease or oil to the pan and sear, baste, and cook the chuck eye steak quickly for 1-2 minutes on both sides to form a nice crust, and don't forget the edges. When done to your liking, remove the steak from the pan and let it rest for about 5-10 minutes. Next, while the steak is resting, clean and wipe out the pan if needed and set the burner to medium-high. Add more BaconUp Bacon Grease or oil to the pan if needed. When the pan is hot, place the seasoned salmon skin-side down and cook on both sides for 1-2 minutes, depending on the thickness of the salmon. When done to your liking, remove from the pan and let it drain. Next, clean and wipe out the pan if needed, set the burner to medium heat, add some BaconUp Bacon Grease or oil to the hot pan, and sauté the shrimp for 1-2 minutes on both sides until pink and cooked to your liking; then remove from the pan and set aside for now. Next, clean and wipe out the pan if needed and set the burner to medium-low heat and melt the butter with the minced garlic and seasonings. Stir until done to your liking, then add the shrimp back in and give it a gentle stir. When the shrimp is hot, you're done. Serve the shrimp in a small casserole dish with the lemon pepper salmon and chuck eye steak on the side, topped with green onion leaves, lemon zest, and a couple slices of lemon, and serve with your favorite beverage.
